Intel has launched new 10th generation Intel Core desktop processors aimed at enhancing gaming experiences as well as enabling 4K video editing for creative professionals. Its 10th General Desktop CPU lineup is based on the 14nm 'Comet Lake' architecture. The lineup consists of no fewer than 32 models, ranging from a new flagship Core i9 for gamers and enthusiasts to the main Core i7, Core i5 and Core i3 families. Desktop processors come as a launch as more employees are working remotely and need to upgrade the system.

  1. The 10th Gen Intel Core S-series processors have speeds up to 5.3 GHz. The Core i9 Unlocked has 10 cores and 20 threads.
  2. Intel is claiming that its Intel Core i9-10900K is the world's fastest gaming processor.
  3. The processor includes Intel Turbo Boost Max 3.0, which identifies the best performing cores to improve performance. Intel's 10th Gen Core desktop processor has two of its best cores without increasing voltage.
